Our Hawthorne, California facility maintains active ITAR registration covering the manufacture, assembly, and testing of defense articles and related technical data. All ITAR-controlled work is performed exclusively by US citizens, and our facility enforces controlled access, visitor logs, and role-based data permissions. This registration is a prerequisite for manufacturing electronics classified under the United States Munitions List and is verified annually as part of our compliance program.

Calpak USA implements counterfeit parts prevention measures aligned with AS6174 and AS6081 standards. All components are sourced through authorized and franchised distributors with documented chain-of-custody records. When authorized sources cannot fulfill requirements, independent distributors are vetted against our approved supplier list and incoming material undergoes enhanced inspection including visual examination, X-ray analysis, and electrical testing per AS6171 where specified. Every component lot is traceable to its source, and suspect or nonconforming material is quarantined and dispositioned per documented procedures. These protocols are maintained as part of our AS9100 Rev. D quality management system at our Hawthorne, California facility.
